Amber Alert Over; Child Still Missing

July 28, 2008 by Administrator · Leave a Comment

reigh-rockefeller-thumb.jpgThe latest information Reigh Rockefeller- abducted over the weekend during a supervised visit with her father- comes from the Boston Police Department:

The Amber Alert in Massachuesetts for Reigh Rockefeller has been canceled. Boston Police have received credible information that Clark Rockefeller along with Reigh have moved on to New York. Boston Police are working closely with local and state authorities in New York to continue the search.

At this time, we continue to look for the black SUV that was involved in the incident. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a black Chevy Tahoe, Suburban, GMC Yukon or Denali with a Red Sox license plate and Red Sox stickers on the window. That vehicle is still believed to be in the area.

That’s it for the Amber Alert. Now that they think father and daughter are in New York, it appears authorities there are less likely to sound the alarm than they are here according to the Boston Globe:

New York does not typically issue Amber Alerts in custodial cases unless authorities believe a child is in danger of being harmed or killed, the spokesman said.
